High-Performance PET Film with Glass Fiber Composited MGM Insulation Material
Product Overview
MGM Insulation Material is a premium three-layer flexible composite insulation paper. Engineered by laminating high-grade muscovite or phlogopite mica paper on both sides of a reinforced PET film and alkali-free glass fiber core using a heat-resistant binder resin, MGM paper delivers maximum dielectric performance and mechanical durability.
It combines the high voltage resistance and corona protection of mica, the tensile strength of glass fiber, and the puncture resistance of PET film—making it an ideal choice for modern electrical machinery.
Key Features & Benefits
-
High Dielectric & Corona Resistance: Exceptional protection against voltage breakdown and electrical arcing.
-
Superior Tensile Strength: Reinforced glass fiber backbone prevents tearing during high-tension automated coil taping and wrapping.
-
Excellent Thermal Performance: Suitable for Class F ($155^\circ\text{C}$) and Class H ($180^\circ\text{C}$) insulation systems.
-
Optimal Resin Penetration: Surface texture allows thorough impregnation during Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) processes.
